X Factor this weekend provided us with the most woeful singing since Karaoke Kirchberg 2013 - and proved that it’s a TV show, and not a talent show. As Niamh Hassell  put it:

And she’s right. Out of tune, out of sync and out of touch – and that was just Cheryl’s performance. To be fair, hers wasn’t out of tune seeing as she wasn’t actually singing. She could never out-do this:

 

And nor should she.

 

An animal rights group has taken out a full page advert against One Direction after they used a chimp in their new video.

Peta took over a page in The Hollywood Reporter to question whether animals were harmed in the video for 'Steal My Girl'.

A spokesman for the group has reiterated that no animals were 'harmed or mistreated' in any way. Sure the chimp was only delighted to meet 1D. 

 

7 months after “consciously UNcoupling” are Gwyneth and Chris REcoupling? Apparently they can’t live without each other. Talk of divorce was never on the agenda – and finding a way to live together now seems to be their priority (once Gwyneth got rid of the small matter of one Jennifer Lawrence, that is.)

 

Rita Ora has been forced to delete a tweet - after her plan to get it retweeted 100 thousand times didn't work. The singer told fans she'd release her new single on Monday in return for 100 thousand retweets - but deleted the message when it only got 2000.

And here’s the worst bit – she claimed she was hacked! Rita, NO! No. Just no.
