Keith McCormack sent us in an email over the weekend – he and his 6 (ALMOST 7!) year-old son Liam recorded a Kickstart request - and it’s a particularly special Kickstart request because, as Keith writes:

"Hi Ian,

Two years ago this week we had my son Liam Mc Cormack’s Cochlear implant “switched on” at Beaumont hospital, in Dublin.

Since then he has made amazing progress in his speech. He can now use a telephone and is even listening to the radio which are the hardest things to do for implant users.

I got the fright of my life a few weeks ago when he started singing Christy Moore's “Don’t Forget Your Shovel” from the back seat of the car. He had just heard it somewhere and remembered it.

Would it be possible to play it as a Kickstart sometime this month?"
