Is Deirdre gone? The rumour mill is in overdrive ever since Ann Kirkbride took temporary leave in October.

According to a Corrie spokesperson "Anne is currently on extended leave, but we are not aware of any desire to step down permanently from her role as Deirdre Barlow."

Deirdre was last seen on screen in October, when she decided to leave the Street for a while ahead of her stepson Peter's murder trial.
This little piece is one of her last scenes before she left - and got a lot of LOLs this morning (from about 59 seconds) – best cry ever?!

Stephen Fry is a married man!

He married his much, MUCH younger husband Elliott Spencer on Saturday, and shared the news after; "Gosh. @ElliottGSpencer and I go into a room as two people, sign a book and leave as one. Amazing.'

They’re not together all that long and there’s a MASSIVE age difference – Stephen is 57 and his new husband is 27. Stephen’s new father-in-law is the same age as him. Will they have joint 60th/30th birthday parties? The whole thing seems so rushed, and strange – but good luck to them.

Ruairi McSorley, aka 'Frostbit boy' appeared on The Saturday Night Show with Brendan O'Connor on Saturday and although Brendan appeared to have no idea what he was saying, he had the audience in stitches.

Hopefully people are laughing with him, although I’m not sure they are. However, if he’s happy, it doesn’t matter – and there are rumours of him heading to see Ellen de Generes (Eileen Generous, according to Ruairi) – so maybe he’ll have the last laugh. Maybe.

Pixie Lott has been slammed after she wore a feathered headdress to celebrate her 24th birthday with a cowboys and Indians themed party in London.

Within minutes of sharing a snap on Instagram, people were quick to lash out, with one person fuming: 'I don't see how the genocide of many many many people is a "party theme".'
SAKE!
