As most of you will know, The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show hit Galway last Thursday night for Ian's Big 90s Night. It was a great night and one thing is for sure, those Galwegians certainly know how to party. Over five hundred people turned up to sing, dance and party with Ian and the breakfast show crew and embraced the theme by dressing up as their favourite characters, actors and acts from the decade.
Libby Daly from Limerick took it to the next level. She has been a fan of our Iano since she was a child and decided to go the whole hog, by actually dressing up as him. Imitation is the highest form of flattery eh?! Yes, she donned the wooly jumper, the blonde (mullet-ish) wig and even brought Zig and Zag along for the craic.
Libby thoroughly enjoyed her night but unfortunately, things took a turn for the worst on the way home. After a trip to Supermacs (What night out in Galway is complete without a Supermacs?!), Libby realised that Zig had gone walkabouts. Now, maybe he got lucky, maybe he decided to explore Galway but Libby is afraid that it's something a little more sinister. Maybe, he was kindnapped.....
Zag hasn't taken this well and Libby is at her wits end. In fact, he has taken to the bed.
Libby came along to our 90s night in Galway last week dressed as me with Zig & Zag. However she lost Zig in Supermacs. Zag is inconsolable. pic.twitter.com/1ga1qiw7mQ

She joined Ian on the line this morning to appeal to the people of Galway.
