New albums will be released on a Friday across the world under new plans to combat the illegal distribution of music online.At the moment Ireland, Australia and Germany already have a Friday release date for new albums, whereas the UK follows on Monday and the US on a Tuesday.
It's hoped this'll stop people downloading the records illegally from territories where they've already been released...and paid for.
