Director Gerard Barrett visited today to talk about his brand new show Smalltown, starring Pat Shortt, which starts on TV3 tonight at 10pm.
Gerard, who grew up in rural Kerry, spoke about the reality of coming from a small Irish town, the struggle to belong, emigration and isolation and how he deals with those issues in Smalltown.
He's a talented chap who has directed Pilgrim Hill, Glassland and is now working on a new movie with Leonardo Di Caprio...as you do like!
