Joe Eager - When filling up the kids pool on hot day. To heat the water fill 2 black bags with water in the pool and the sun will heat the water leave for about an hour then burst the bags and the kids be nice and warm.. :-). Enjoy
Have a problem separating eggs? Brian in Wexford has you covered...
To separate eggs use an empty coke bottle, squeeze the bottle and place it on the yolk and release. The yolk sucks into the bottle leaving the white behind and just squeeze again to pop out the yolk into another bowl.. Brian Wexford
The best way I found to AVOID FRUITFLIES is to wash your fruit and veg when you first bring them home. Any eggs on them usually hatch and suddenly your room is full of them, but PREVENT that by washing fruit and veg under cold water on purchase. And it saves you having to kill the little buggers live. Use your wife's hair straightener as a collar iron for your dress shirts. Ye get two bowls in a microwave, put one of them on an upside down glass. And to cool a beer in 3mins wrap it in a wet kitchen paper towel and put it in the freezer. Cormac
Worried about garlic stinking fingers?! Cian on twitter has your back...Lime juice to get rid of raw garlic/onion smell from hands. Chew parsley to get rid of garlic or beer breath.

To stop bannanas going black,take a small piece of tin foil the size of a .5 note and wrap it around the stalks! They will stay yellow. Alex, Wicklow
