MISS PIGGY AND KERMIT ARE NO MORE!
News of the shocking split comes just weeks before the debut of the new Muppets sitcom. The show, which takes on a mockumentary style similar to The Office, features Piggy as a talk show host and Kermit as the show's behind-the-scenes executive producer.
But the ex-lovers are convinced that their forgone romance will not impact their working relationship.
'We will continue to work together on television and in all media now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, throughout the universe,' the statement continued.
'However, our personal lives are now distinct and separate, and we will be seeing other people, pigs, frogs, et al.'
PERRIE AND ZAYN SPLIT
Ex-One Direction star Zayn Malik has split with Little Mix singer and fellow Pop-Star Perrie Edwards. The couple were engaged a year later, although no wedding date was ever announced. Zayn and Perrie had been dating since December 2011, after meeting on set of the X Factor.
Of course, there was a massive reaction on Twitter, where Perrie has previously been named Yoko Ono after it was felt that she had been the cause of Zayn's decision to leave One Direction.
Some of the comments last night included 'can't believe Zayn and Perrie broke up,' 'Don't be mad at perrie we all know what it feels like to lose zayn :(
Awh, but at 22 years of age, they don't need to worry about being left on the shelf just yet.
LENNY KRAVITZ TROUSERS SPLIT
A new member of Lenny Kravitz's band made a surprise onstage appearance in Sweden Monday.
The 51-year-old musician was rocking out on stage at the Gröna Lund theme park in Stockholm during the first song of his set when he bent down and the crotch of his leather pants ripped, exposing ALL of his manhood.
Several audience members captured the wardrobe malfunction moment on video and in photos, which quickly spread across social media.
He must have a few spares backstage as he rushed off and returned moments later in a fresh pair of leather trouser and he apologised.
Last night, the Fly Away singer posted a screengrab of a text he received from Aerosmith's Steve Tyler, who appeared to be both shocked and dismayed at the same time.
'Dude...No underwear and pierced...F*** me.. You never showed me that s***,' Tyler wrote.
