Following on from a UK survey which revealed that ‘Darling’ was the most common pet name there, The Breakfast Show sought out the Irish equivalent, and as always, our listeners didn't disappoint!
We can reveal that the most common terms of affection, according to our listeners are.....‘Babes’ & ‘Princess’!
One listener summed it up by saying - “My sister-in-law calls my brother "babe" all the time. My nephew is 2 and a half and in the past few months has started calling his dad "dad-babe”.
