Poldark star Aidan Turner has defended the baby who was “fired” from the role of playing his daughter on the set of the Cornish drama.
His comments came after his co-star Eleanor Tomlinson, who plays Demelza, said: “It was amazingly challenging working with children. We had four babies, no three – one got fired.”
Aidan was quick to point out, “That's what babies do, they cry,” he reasoned. “It's not a very natural environment for them. They cry and everyone looks at each other going 'ah, what a troublesome child' - it's ridiculous.”
