Joan Rivers has had a pop at Lena Dunham on Howard Stern’s radio show, saying Lena is condoning the attitude that “it’s okay to be fat and get diabetes”.
What a repulsive thing to say about someone – and Lena isn’t the first female Joan has slagged off regarding her body shape.
Adele was on the receiving end of a scathing rant from the acid-tongued, botoxed, faced-lifted, 80-year old “comedian”.
Joan Rivers said ‘She wanted an apology, so I took an ad out on her a**. I said, “You are not fat.” And then I had room for a lot of other ads.”
All Joan has done is to emphasise the idea that she is incredibly mean-spirited (and she herself happens to look like she’s squeezed a condom over her face) and therefore is in NO position to be pointing out flaws of other women. Women who aren’t even flawed because IT’S OKAY NOT TO BE SKINNY! (It’s also okay to be skinny, if that’s the way you’re built). It's okay to wear no make-up, lots of make-up, wear baggy clothes, wear skimpy clothes, have long hair, short hair, no hair - WHO CARES!
