Penny Lancaster, wife of singer Rod Stewart, has claimed men should not cook because “putting the apron on” robs men of their masculinity.
Penny knows her views may be “a bit old-fashioned” but said she believed men should be “the hunter-gatherer, the macho man, looking after the family”.
“I do agree with equal rights and if women want to go and work that’s fabulous,” said Lancaster, 44.
As part of Dublin's bid to be named European Capital of Culture for 2020, Damien Dempsey has recorded a track for the Dublin2020 campaign. Judy Dench revealed she was told she would never make it as an actress – because she was deemed too ugly.
Judi said: “I didn’t become a film star in the 60s and that’s because I once went for a film - which I have always kept a secret, and the director a secret too - he said at the end of the interview, ‘Jolly nice meeting you but I’m sorry, you won’t ever make a film because your face is wrongly arranged’.”
