She's defending The Goop Lab on Netflix
Gwyneth Paltrow says that all the negativity surrounding The Goop Lab is clickbait and BS. She founded the lifestyle brand Goop in 2008, and has hit out at claims the company is offering 'questionable health advice' through its new Netflix series.
Gwyneth insists Goop doesn't 'dole out any advice' when it comes to health, and has slammed the idea her brand is 'pseudo-scientific'.
The CEO of the NHS said said: 'Her brand peddles psychic vampire repellent, says chemical sunscreen is a bad idea, and promotes colonic irrigation and DIY coffee enema machines, despite them carrying considerable risks to health.'
In Paltrow's defense, the Netflix show comes with a disclaimer that says it's 'designed to entertain, not provide medical advice.'
Robert Sheehan has said his mother was so dismayed to see a half-naked billboard of him in… Portlaoise! As part of the promotion for Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy, producers placed billboards of the actors in each of their home towns and his mother was horrified to see. But a bit proud, I imagine.
