Gwyneth Paltrow has admitted that even she finds the term ‘conscious uncoupling’ a bit hard to swallow.
When herself and Chris Martin announced their split back in 2014, they used this term and it was to reflect the fact that they were going to try their very best to remain on really good terms and very much a part of each other’s lives.
However, she says the mockery and anger that term brought really upset her.
But now, she can now admit that as a term it’s a bit full of itself and 'painfully progressive'.
In her defense, she didn't come up with it, the concept was suggested by a therapist.
