Graham Norton has come clean and has confessed that when he was a child, he got wrapped up in a web of lies that ended up with him getting his appendix out.
Speaking on Mel Giedroyc's show 'Unforgivable', Norton remembers an instance of not wanting to go to school when he was seven or eight and faking a pain in his tummy. (Which, we’ve all done once or twice)
He might have been hoping for a day in bed and a bit of daytime TV but his Mam brought him to the doctors and he had to keep up his lie. When the doctor examined him, he lied about the pain again and next thing, he ended up in the hospital, scheduled in to get his appendix out.
Obviously, this was the time to come clean but Graham, afraid of getting in trouble, just went with it and had the operation!
