Ed Sheeran has apparently landed a role in a Bollywood film.
He has been cast in director Farah Khan's upcoming movie Happy New Year 2, after mingling with the stars in Mumbai.
Ed's worked on a number of soundtracks before, but this will be his acting debut.
Sure he’ll fit RIGHT in in, um, Bollywood.
The Gloaming has won the Meteor Choice Music Prize album of the year.
The award was announced last night on the Paul McLoone show on Today FM at the awards ceremony in Vicar Street.
Instead of airplay, the judges focus just on music for the top prize – Ian’s a judge and he wouldn’t tell me ANYTHING about what was said during the judging process. As if I’d tell anyone, I mean COME ON. I am the epitome of discre...yeah, I’m laughing too. As if!
The Gloaming are currently touring Australia so they weren't there to collect their award, so their girlfriends did it for them.
The winner of Irish song of the year went to the Script for Superheroes (huh?!)
Harrison Ford has been injured after a small airplane crashed outside Los Angeles.
The 72-year-old suffered multiple gashes to his head and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
His son Ben later tweeted about the incident saying his father was ok. Phew!
At the hospital. Dad is ok. Battered, but ok! He is every bit the man you would think he is. He is an incredibly strong man.
