Although he didn't make it into Saturday night's final, Brendan Murray sang his heart out and did us very proud last night - so a massive bualadh bos to him for his effort.
Worryingly, this now makes it 4 years in a row that we haven't made it into the last stage of a competition we once ruled supreme.
Louis Walsh isn't letting the revelation get to him though; he now knows what we have to do to light-up the stages of Europe once again.
