Davy Fitzgerald says his players need to ‘relax and chill out’. The 2013 All-Ireland winners have been drawn at home to struggling Offaly in the first round of the All-Ireland qualifiers. The team need a morale boost after a difficult spell since the 2013 success.
Fitzgerald said: “I thought we were a bit tense and that probably comes from trying a little too hard. We’re trying to get the lads to just relax and chill out and enjoy their hurling. That’s the most important thing, while keeping the tackle rate up.”
So, if that's what he said in an interview, what happened in the dressing room?
