It’s rumoured that eternal bachelor George Clooney is engaged to a British humanitarian lawyer.

Amal Alamuddin flashed a diamond ring on a night out in Miami after six months of dating!

Let’s have a little look over George’s ex girlfriends, only one of whom managed to drag him up the aisle:

In the 80’s, he went out with Dede Pfeiffer (Michelle Pfeiffer’s sister)

After her, it was Kelly Preston (now married to John Travolta)

Then it was Talia Balsam who actually managed to drag him up the aisle (they split in 1993)

Then there was Kimberley Russell for three years – they met on a Martini commercial.

Then he dated a waitress called Celine Balitran for a year.

There were rumours about him and Lucy Liu in 2000 - later on that same year more rumours about him and Charlize Theron surfaced.

Lisa Snowdon nabbed him for 5 years, after that Elisabeth Cannalis had a go.

Stacy Keibler nabbed him for 2 years (she’s just had a new baby with her husband)

Go on Amal! You can do it!

Talking of ex-commitment phobes....

Simon Cowell's X-Factor musical I Can't Sing has become one of the biggest flops in West End musical history. It's rumoured he'll take a four million pound hit after the show was axed. It will now close on May 10th - just six weeks after its premiere.

In true Simon Cowell spirit, let's take some of his MEANEST put downs and apply them to the musical he commissioned ABOUT HIMSELF:

''There's a certain irony for you singing a song about climbing when you actually fell off.'

''When you started to sing, the first thing that went through my mind was you sound like someone who should be singing on a cruise ship. And then halfway through the song, I imagined the ship sinking.''

''It would be rather like ordering a guard dog for your home and getting delivered a poodle in a leather jacket. It's not the real thing.''

''You are a beautiful girl, but you're ugly when you perform.''

AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson has been given his own TV show about his greatest passion - cars.

He loves to race motors and owns a number of vintage models.

Cars That Rock (see what they did there? Did ya? Eh? Eh? Ha?)  features Brian analysing, discussing and driving some of the most iconic motors in history.

The show starts on Quest on Thursday May 8 at 9pm.
