If I had a euro for every time George Hook was under scrutiny - I'd be a VERY rich lad!!
He's only gone and done it again, but this time he's really put his foot (and every other part of his body) in it. He reminds me a lot of Mario Balotelli - who always brought it upon himself.
In an attempt to wriggle his way out of this predicament, George has released a brand new cover version album, putting his own spin on some classics such as: David Gray's "Please Forgive Me", James Brown's "This Is A Man's World", Boyzone's "Baby Can I Hold You Tonight" and Hank Williams' "Hey Good Looking", to name a few. He also does a mean Bieber rendition.
Majority of the tracks seek forgiveness for his blunder(s) but we fear it's a case of 'too little too late'.
His latest release has an added 'bonus' as it "features material from other controversial old men" such as an amazing Eamon Dunphy cover and a Kevin Myers duet with Barbra Streisand.
Our fave is his final track - an ode to KC and The Sunshine Band...
