He has revealed that when Ben Affleck was offered the part of Batman, he came to George to pick his brains on it. Clooney's advice was short and sweet - ‘DON’T DO IT’. Straight to the point George.
It was based on his own experiences with the superhero. George famously played Batman in the 1997 version and his movie wasn't very well received. In fact, he thought it was going to be a career ending mistake.
However, Affleck didn’t take his friend’s advice. He donned the superhero suit in three films and well, we know how that went.
Note to self, when George gives advice, TAKE IT!
