Garth Brooks fans were (sort of) pranked (not very well) yesterday. Around a thousand fans clicked on a link that was circulating on Facebook yesterday – a fake link claiming to be the BBC News. The headline read: “Garth Brooks Cancels July Concerts in Dublin” – stating he has been struck down with a viral throat infection and had to cancel. It also said Garth had to cancel “both” concerts (he’s playing 5). And then the joke was over, the end.
Tom Cruise and David Beckham left drinkers gobsmacked when they turned up at a London pub - they caused a sensation when they dropped into The Cow in Notting Hill.
According to witnesses the pair relaxed chatting in a corner over a bottle of wine and a pint of Guinness. Witnesses who also took sneaky pics:
Rambo V has been given the go-ahead, with Sylvester Stallone to write and star in it, and this time John Rambo will go up against a Mexican cartel.
Sly describes the new Rambo as his version of No Country For Old Men - the film is likely to be released in early 2015.
And finally, always remember to check that your clothes are on the right way round, and not inside out before you leave the house and walk around Dublin/work/have meetings for more than 13 hours. Just SAYIN’.
