In the UK, footballer Steven Gerrard can barely walk down the street or buy his toilet paper without getting mobbed by paparazzi but since he’s moved to L.A to play with L.A Galaxy he reckons he’s now the equivalent of a Z list celebrity and he is loving it. He said no one even looks twice at him. In fairness, everyone deserves to buy a bit of bog roll in peace. Forget Stevie G, call him Stevie Z. Yes, I did that and I'm proud of it.

It’s barely September and we don’t want to mention the C word but it’s been revealed that Dannii and Kylie Minogue will be releasing a Christmas album together. Apparently, it’s been on the cards for years but apparently Kylie’s management tried to put it off because the pair were in 'different leagues'…ie Kylie was WAAAAY more famous. There’ll be a Christmas single released from the album and it hasn’t been confirmed but it’s looking like it’ll be a cover version of ‘Wham’s Last Christmas’. Excellent.

Well , Strictly Come Dancing kicked off on Saturday and our wee Daniel’s been paired with the Siberian Siren Kristina Rihanoff, nicknamed so because of her reputation for romancing contestants. YEOWWWWW. But it turns out Majella isn’t worried at all. No, no, she reckons Kristina is a lovely girl

"As far as I know, Kristina is very happy in her current relationship as we are in ours. I found her to be a lovely girl and I'm delighted that she's working with Daniel because she's a fantastic choreographer who'll bring the best out in him.". GRAND.

Acting clearly runs in the Liam Neeson’s family as his son Míchael is set to star as Michael Collins in a a star-studded historical film. Micheal Neeson, the Oscar-nominated actor's eldest son, will play Collins in RTE's 1916 movie The Rising, twenty years after his father played him. It’s also just been confirmed that Jonathon Rhys Myers will also play Padraig Pearse and Sean Penn has also been approached about playing the role of the leaders' comrade Thomas Clarke.

The famous PMac will be back with your showbiz tomorrow morning, bright and early.
