Mrs Brown’s Boys is going live on the BBC this weekend without a delay – so there are fears that the Mammy will swear live on air. Sacre bleu! It’s a once-off, live edition of the show and the BBC are BRAVELY taking the decision not to have a 5-second delay *snort*
Brendan O’Carroll said that the Beeb told him to cut the swearing and he would be a huge star. He said, I don’t want to be a huge star, I wanted to make the show how I wanted and if they had to put it out at 2am, so be it.
It’ll be on on Saturday at 9.45pm.
Lady Gaga has come to the rescue to Bradley Cooper’s new film (and directorial debut) with reports that sheis replacing Beyoncé in the remake of A Star Is Born.
"Bradley flew out to direct Gaga, 30, in the audition himself, and she knocked it out of the park. Then he personally took the tape to Warner Bros. to get approval", says a source.
Beyoncé wanted too much money, and Warner Bros balked at her price. The production budget was also said to be an issue with the studio.
The Leonardo di Caprio Foundation gala auction takes place tomorrow in St Tropez and if you have a whole heap of money and a penchant for Mr di Caprio you’re in luck because you can also bid online.
Such wares include his Rolex, a weeks-stay for 12 guests at his Palm Springs home, attend the US Open men’s final with him and props from films. Other prizes include a week on set with Martin Scorsese, Kevin Spacey with come to your house for a private theatre performance and a trip to the North Pole, South Pole and Mount Everest with the explorer Johan Ernst Nilson (that’s definitely the worst prize. I would have no business being on Everest).
