A series of books by Enid Blyton called The Magic Faraway Tree are to be turned into a film.
Sam Mendes' production company will make it, and I am BEYOND excited.
Blyton wrote the books - about a group of children and their adventures in a magical forest - more than 60 years ago. The main characters were called Joe, Bessie, Fanny and Dick. And now in modern publications, they’ve changed these to Jo, Beth, Franny and Rick. *angryface*
ANYWAY, roll on Silky, Moonface, The Saucepan Man, The Land of Topsy Turvey, The Land of Spells, The Land of Do As You Please, The Land of Birthdays etc!
Mary Byrne has submitted a song for consideration at Eurovision 2015. The track is a return to the days of Johnny Logan and Linda Martin, so it’s a ballad. Hurrah! Back to basics – remember when THIS happened?
Renee Zellwegger turned up at the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards the other night looking...different. Some are saying she’s just after ageing a bit but it’s more than that. Her eyes are different, her...FACE is different. Doesn't she KNOW what happened to Jennifer Gray after the nose job? Piers Morgan has topped a list of people that make Brits embarrassed to be British. Simon Cowell and Gordon Ramsay were the other two personalities that also make them cringe.
Lookit, at least they don’t have Enda and Louis.
