The Spice Girls rejected the chance to sing with super-fan Adele because they were afraid of being upstaged! Adele had been petitioning to get onstage with the girls when they were touring but it never happened, despite her being in the crowd to watch them perform. Probably a good decision!
Tapes are on the way back! Cassettes have made a comeback thanks to Coldplay and Robbie Williams taking the nostalgic route and releasing their albums on tape. 100K people in the UK have bought tapes so far in 2019 – double the amount than in 2018. Tesco and Argos are selling budget boomboxes.
