Steven Spielberg reveals he originally wanted ET to be a scary monster, and that ET was to have terrorised humans after invading the earth.
But he thought movie audiences wouldn't accept such a hostile storyline, so instead developed ET into the sweet alien we all know and love. Could have been so different: 
George Michael has been rushed to hospital after collapsing at his north London home. His agent agent is refusing to say what's caused George's mystery collapse, or whether drugs were involved but allegedly paramedics spent four hours at his home before taking him to hospital. It's also unclear if George is still in hospital undergoing treatment. Get well soon George, from all your fans: 
After a three-year hiatus, the massive World Music Awards returned with a decked out ceremony in Monaco. Weirdly, there’s very little footage available – NBC were supposed to air it stateside last night but “due to technical errors”, this never happened. Boo. Miley Cyrus look nice and PRETTY in a DRESS and everything! She won Best Female, and Best Video for Wrecking Ball.
