Ed Sheeran says his recent Grammy Award nomination wasn't the highlight of his year. The Lego House singer is up for 'Best New Artist' at next month's ceremony but Ed says he's had a year to remember and one moment stands out against all others. His highlight of the year was doing the end credit song, "I See Fire," for “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.”
Kate Winslet's given birth to her third child, a baby boy. The newborn weighed 9 pounds and both mother and son are said to be doing well. Kate and her husband Ned Rocknroll are said to be thrilled to bits.
Tom Cruise is working on a sequel to the 2012 thriller Jack Reacher, which is based on the book series by Lee Child. The sequel will be based on Lee's book Never Go Back – a military police officer turned freelance problem solver. The first Jack Reacher film earned more than two-hundred million pounds worldwide.
Former Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa may join the cast of the tentatively-titled Batman verses Superman film. It's not known what role he's up for - one possibility is Martian Manhunter, the green-skinned, telepathic alien hero who works with Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman fighting evil as part of the Justice League. We already know actress Gal Godot has been cast as Wonder Woman opposite Henry Cavill's Man of Steel and Ben Affleck's Batman (due for release in 2015).
