Poor oul Ed Sheeran. He’s going to need to get back on the road and start earning a few pound because it could be an expensive time for him. He has had legal action taken against him and is accused of plagiarizing Marvin Gaye’s ‘Let’s Get It On’. Heirs of the composer of the song, Ed Townsend are claiming that Ed’s hit ‘Thinking Out Loud’ contains core elements of ‘Let’s Get It On’. and there’s no denying - the similarities are definitely there alright. They claim he’s ripped off the melody, the harmony and the rhythm compositions. This comes just two months after Ed was sued by Californian songwriters who claimed his hit ‘Photograph’ was a rip off of a track they had written.
