So with the legend that is Johnny Giles turning seventy seven today, Iano gave himself and his good aul buddy Eamon Dunphy a call to see how they were going to celebrate.
Eamon has only the highest of praise for his commentating colleague, and feels that Mr.Giles might one day be the president, with him in assistance up at the Áras.
We had gotten a tip off that Eamon wanted to sing a song to his pal with the "beautiful porcelain skin", so we looked forward to hearing what he had to offer. Don McLean wasn't the first artists that sprang to mind though.
How is it that the two men can never duet though??
