Tonight, the pinnacle of the Kerry calendar takes place, as the first eighteen ladies take to the Dome stage for the Rose of Tralee 2017.
The escorts aren't the only super excited males though, as host Dáithí Ó'Sé is more pumped for this year's competition than ever before.
He's in the shape of his life and puts it down to a ban on booze and carbs (the devil's work). He must be chewing the iron too as he states, "You could play handball off me stomach boi".
His Rose knowledge is phenomenal - Rain-Man-esque even, and he gives Iano a little sample of his abilities over the phone, "If I did the Leaving Certificate for Roses I'd have 600 points".

Iano also chatted to the REAL Dáithí Ó'Sé ahead of the Rose of Tralee competiton. They had the craic about his preparation, talked about the intriguing talents that will be on show (whip cracking, aerial hooping etc.), and the charismatic Kerryman also told a few hilarious anecdotes from the past few years.
