Rosanna Davison’s ghastly advice is doing the rounds online – and it isn’t very popular.

A woman wrote to Rosanna Davison, who is an Agony Aunt with The Herald, looking for advice after she slept with her boyfriend’s friend.

She reveals he is married with two kids and basically, doesn’t want the baby to be his.

Rosanna advises the woman to make it clear to this man that the baby could be his but ‘if he is willing to forget that the one night stand happened, then you are too.’

The aul' "say nothin'" trick, eh?

Noel Edmonds has beaten Ant and Dec to be named the nation's favourite children's TV presenter - in a survey of parents.

He hosted BBC Saturday morning show Swap Shop from 1976 to 1982.

And and Dec, who presented ITV's SMTV Live from 1998 to 2001, were voted into second place.

1. Noel Edmonds – Swap Shop

3. Valerie Singleton – Blue Peter

4. Chris Tarrant – Tiswas

5. Phillip Schofield – The Broom Cupboard

6. Eamonn Andrews – Crackerjack

7. John Craven – Newsround

8. Pat Sharp – Fun House (Fun house, it's a whole lot of fun, prizes to be won...)

9. Floella Benjamin – Play School

10. Michaela Strachan – The Really Wild Show

Pop overtook rock music to become the most popular genre in the UK last year, according to latest sales figures.

The BPI - which is the trade organisation for the music industry - says pop had its most successful year since 1999 when boybands and the Spice Girls topped the charts.

A happier time.
