An Irish girl called Alessia Macari has been crowned the winner of Big Brother Italy.
She made the move over to Italy two years ago for a job – and she also previously made it to the second round of auditions for the X Factor. She was also on another Italian TV quiz show...fingers in many pies.
She spoke in the house about soccer player Ciaran Clark who she used to date as well. Which he’s probably thrilled about. Anyway, she’s just won 50K.
Nicky Byrne could be back in the running for representing Ireland in Eurovision again next year. He never made it past the semi-finals in Sweden in May but the head of Eurovision in Ireland has said that he wants to talk to Nicky about sending him again, and in the same sentence said they won’t be sending any joke acts, because it’s bigger than the Superbowl. To his credit, he’s right – more people watch Eurovision than the Superbowl. Yup.
