Coldplay were playing a massive sold out gig in the Gilette Stadium in Boston this weekend and surprised their fans with a cover of Christy Moore’s Ride On. Apparently, the band wanted to pay tribute to the huge links between Boston and Irish communities and they did it in the style by covering one of the most recognisable Irish songs ever It’s not the first time the lads have done it either, they were joined by Christy himself on stage at Oxegen in Punchestown in 2011.
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian often gets criticised for having no talent and for being famous for ‘being famous’ but she has hit back at all her haters and has revealed that she actually has a very specific set of skills.

But he says that he’s not getting carried away with himself, that he’s tried to maintain a down to earth attitude - ‘As soon as you start to think you might be a bit more of a dude than you really are then you are in real trouble’
And finally, let me get my Gavan Reilly hat on. Brexit has affected the economy, stocks, retail but it turns out that Mrs Brown has been hit too! Filming of the next Mrs Brown’s Boys has been delayed due to Brexit according to Brendan O’Carroll. The script is ready, the plot is ready and filming was due to start this year but apparently the drop in sterling has made it a lot more expensive for the studio that it would have been and they are going to have to wait until the sterling stabilises a bit.
