Cold Feet actor James Nesbitt wants ITV bosses to give the show another series after its successful return this week. The show which had last been on air in 2003, came back this week to an amazing reception and an audience of more than six million viewers. Nesbitt also says that he was really able to appreciate it watching it back this week and that originally, he hadn’t been able to enjoy the series because he was in it!
Celebrity Operation Transformation began on RTE One last night and the celebrities have started off on the right foot with all having a very successful first weigh in. I think that anyone who carries a few extra pounds can see a little bit of ourselves in each of them. And people can say what they want about reality TV but you have to give them credit for getting on the telly, stripping off and standing on the weighing scales for the whole nation to judge.
Not content with finding ways to kill his own Mammy, Baz Ashmawy put out the call for more Grannies to join the fun in the final season of his Sky show. And he was absolutely inundated with the response – over 400 women applied to take part! However, he has whittled it down to four women, from Scotland, Singapore, London and Jamaica. Really looking forward to this series to start! It’ll be kicking off on Sky 1 on Monday Sept 26.
There has been a lot of talk that legendary actress Angela Lansbury (90) is set to star in Game of Thrones but her reps have shot down the rumours. So, the word was that she would be guest starring in two episodes of the HBO show, so they could just be throwing us off the scent! It’ll be on air in summer 2017 so we’ll soon see.
