Liam Gallagher insists that it's his brother Noel Gallagher who is preventing an Oasis reunion.The brothers have barely spoken since Noel quit the band in 2009 following a huge backstage bust-up between the pair.Since then, it’s been dig after dig at each other on social media and in interviews but Liam is adamant it is not him that’s holding back – that it’s Noel and his desire to be a solo star.
This is really sad – music mogul Clive Davis wrote a letter to his good friend Whitney Houston almost a decade before her tragic death. The letter is dated In September 2001 and was written after he met her at a Michael Jackson show and couldn’t believe how unwell she looked. The letter, which will appear in the new documentary on his life explains how he cried that night after seeing her. He went on to acknowledge that she was in denial about the fact that she needed help but he pleaded for her to face up to the truth and find peace. It’s very sad considering we know how it played out.
Bob Dylan was announced as their receipt of the Nobel Prize for literature last week and whilst the tributes have been flowing in, Bob hasn’t officially acknowledged the award yet. They’ve sent emails and called his ‘people’ but they haven’t heard back from him yet. Basically, they want him to RSVP and let them know if he’s coming to the ceremony in Stolkholm in December. Apparently, they’re not worried though and if he doesn’t come, they’ll have a big party in his honour anyway!
Is there any room on that sofa lads?! Move over! Olly Murs and Niall Horan are teaming up for one night only for a Celebrity Gogglebox charity special! The two lads will appear on the couch this Friday night in a Stand Up To Cancer special and they’ll give their insights into the week’s TV. Niall said they had a great laugh filming it and Olly was delighted to be involved and to have Niall doing it with him!
