With "The Party" being released across Ireland this evening, we asked Cillian Murphy and co-star Timothy Spall to come on air and tell us a bit more about the story.
The film centres around a recently promoted British cabinet politician, and her academic husband, who hold a soiree for the intellectual and political elite that ends with blood on the floor.
Ian asked the lads about their work relationship, and delved a bit further into the plot. He also discovers a strong connection between Cillian and our buddy Dermot Whelan (the 'Dermot' part of "Dermot and Dave").
But would the actor reveal any of his secrets?
Iano also informs him of a mutual interest in a famous band from Cork, and how he kinda snuck under the radar to take one of Cillian's gigs.
