Cheryl made her long awaited comeback on Sunday night's X Factor, performing her new single Love Made Me Do It. The singer took some time off after giving birth to her son Bear last year but released the new track two weeks ago. However, her performance was harshly criticized by tabloids and social media.
Many people were quick to call out her supposed poor vocal performance, with others saying she should have left her singing career in the past.
On top of this, Ofcom, the UK media regulator, stated they received 15 complaints over her performance. The complaints claimed her performance was over sexualised and not suitable for many members of the X Factor audience.

Cheryl last appeared as judge on X Factor in 2015 but will take up a new judging role next year as she is set to appear on the panel of BBC's new dance show The Greatest Dancer.
