The Celebrity Big Brother launch was last night and former EastEnders star Shaun Williamson, AKA Barry off EastEnders, was the first person to step into the Celebrity Big Brother house last night.

He was joined by 15 other housemates, including Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding and Sandi from Gogglebox...and a whole load of other "professional reality stars".

They're all competing for a 55-thousand euro prize for their chosen charity...and for their own pay-cheque too, of course.

Sarah Harding apparently “threw shade” which is the cool way to say she insulted her former band-mates from Girls Aloud by saying she has been in a girl band so she knows all about confrontation and she doesn’t like it.

Here are the others:

Sam Thompson – Made In Chelsea

Derek Acorah – spiritual medium

Marissa Jade – Mob Wives

Chad Johnson – American reality TV star

Helen Lederer – comedian

Karthik Nagesan – former Apprentice “star”

Brandi Granville – Real Housewives of Beverley Hills (husband ran off with LeAnn Rimes)

Jordan Davies – Ex On The Beach

Trisha Paytas – YouTube “star”

Gemma Lucy – Ex On The Beach

Amelia Lily – X Factor “star”

Paul Danan – Hollyoaks actor

Rita Sullivan on Corrie is set for the longest departure ever from a soap, after more than 50 years in Weatherfield. Viewers will have seen that she has started to be forgetful and it’s looking like writers are going to bow her out in a slow-burning storyline about dementia.

Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin tied the knot in a low-profile wedding ceremony in Dublin last weekend...but who is her man?

She posted photographs online, but the identity of her husband remains a mystery. It’s bizarre – she’s in all the papers, and her new husband is in the photos with her but nobody knows who he is!

Irish artists including U2, Christy Moore, Hozier and more last year shared more than 26 million euro in royalties for their songs, IMRO has revealed. This is an increase of 4% from the previous year, which is brilliant because the royalties received from IMRO for some artists are often their sole income. The royalties come from all sorts of sources; from the hold music on phones to the 3Arena.
