In our latest trip to primary schools across the country, Shauna from the Breakfast Show crew headed off to meet the third and fourth class students from Churchtown National School between Mallow and Charleville, in the lovely county of Cork. What a brilliant welcome she got too - Shauna got a tour of the school and their brand new multi-sensory room, which is absolutely fantastic.
Shauna spoke to – Annalise, David, Elaine, Callum, Caoimhín, Orlaith, Niamh, Michael, Darragh, Hugo, Lily, Kyle, Finín, Billy, Iliya, Joan, William, Siobhán, Ella, Mia and Ava.
Given that we are in Cork to celebrate the start of Mario's 'In Your Face' tour, we asked the children if they were able to do any accents or impressions themselves. There's a few in the bunch that might give Mario a run for their money....
We wanted to know if the children of Churchtown NS were working for Cork Tourist Board, how would they sell their county? What's so great about Cork? What is there to see and do here?
Thanks to Principal Donal O'Shea, teacher Paudie Brennan, Caroline and the students of third and fourth class and all the staff at Churchtown NS. If you'd like Shauna to visit your school, email us now on breakfast@todayfm.com!
