The first half hour of the show was dedicated to the legendary sound of FAME Studios & The Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Alabama. If you haven't seen the documentary, you must check it out, it's amazing, so much great music came from there..the sound of Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Percy Sledge, Etta James & Candi Staton to name but a few. There was a magic there created by Rick Hall & the famous rhythm section, The Swampers ,that didn't seem to exist elsewhere which is why artists like The Rolling Stones, Paul Simon, Willie Nelson & Bob Dylan all travelled to the studio and ended up producing some of their best work. Thanks to all who tuned in!
