The public acknowledgement by Cork GAA County Board Chairman Ger Lane that not even success has been able to entice Leesiders to support the Rebel senior footballers prompted the posing of the question 'why?' to listeners of the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show. With some interesting responses.

Cork Chairman Ger Lane reckons in Cork it could be because most gaelic football in the county is west cork based, but Sue Callanan has another view.
