Trevor Clarke is on the verge of leaving Shamrock Rovers to sign for Rotherham.
The 21-year-old won't be part of the Hoops' squad to face Apollon Limassol in the Europa League this week as he's traveling to England to have a medical with the League One side.
"Trevor is over doing his medical today so it could done today or tomorrow," Rovers manager Stephen Bradley confirmed this morning ahead of the clash with Apollon.
"He's been brilliant for us, a great kid and I wish him nothing but success. Hopefully, it will all work out for him.
"He definitely has the qualities, it's just a lot else has to fall into place. But I wish him the best and like I said, hopefully the medical goes OK today, and that will be him."
Clarke's deal at Tallaght Stadium was due to expire at the end of the current season and he'll cost Rotherham around £100,000.
He's the second player to leave Shamrock Rovers this summer following Aaron Bolger's move to Cardiff, though Seán Kavanagh is set to sign a new long-term contract.
