Tottenham are reportedly now in talks with Gennaro Gattuso as another managerial deal breaks down.
It had looked as if former Roma boss Paulo Fonseca was about to be announced as the new manager of the north London club.
On Thursday afternoon though talks between the two sides appeared to break down.
It's believed the contract had been verbally agreed but financial differences got in the way before a signing.

It's now believed Gennaro Gattuso could become José Mourinho's long-term replacement.
He is expected to leave Fiorentina after just 23 days as head coach due to a dispute with his new club regarding player signings in the summer.
This is the third manager the club has been linked with since Mourinho's departure with talks also falling through with Antonio Conte.
Conte said at the time that he wasn't convinced by Tottenham's ambitions.
"Generally, I like the challenges and I’ve accepted many of them during my career," Conte told La Gazzetta dello Sport when asked about his talks with Tottenham
“Even the top clubs I coached were never the favourites when I arrived. However, if there’s something that doesn’t convince me I prefer not to accept regardless of the money.
"I am ready to stay at home if something is not convincing me. It has to do with vision, honesty and principles."
