Stuart Lancaster back to what he loves doing most at Leinster

Former England boss Stuart Lancaster says joining the coaching set-up at Leinster has allowed him to return to what he loves doing most.

The Blues have won two Guinness PRO14 titles and a Champions Cup since Lancaster's arrival in Dublin and he's credited with the development of many of young players at the province.

"This is my fourth year and I've loved every minute," Lancaster told Sky Sports News of his time as senior coach so far. "I was so grateful to get the chance to go Leinster after leaving England and in the first season we lost two semi-finals and then obviously did the double.

"Last season we lost to Saracens (in the Heineken Champions Cup final) but we won the PRO14 so we've had a great period and it's such a fantastic place and Dublin is an easy commute from Leeds.

"To be given such a hands-on coaching role by Leo Cullen has really me to get back to what I love doing to be honest. I'm working with a talented group of players who are all hungry for success and it's just a really brilliant environment to work in.

"I really, really enjoy it and we've had Felipe (Contepomi) come in last year from Argentina and Robin McBryde arrived last summer from Wales, so you've got a real diversity in the coaching team and some good ideas feeding in from outside of Ireland with Leo steering it all from the helm in the great way that he does."
