Ashley Young says he "can't wait to get started" after completing his €1.5m transfer from Manchester United to Inter Milan last night.
The 39-times capped England international has agreed a deal to join the Italian club until June, with the option of extending his contract for another season.
Young willl link up with his former United team-mates Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez at the San Siro and leaves Old Trafford after making 261 appearances for the Red Devils and scoring 19 goals.
"Ashley Young is officially an Inter player," Inter confirmed on their official website.
"The 34-year-old English defender arrives from Manchester United and has signed a contract lasting until June 30 2020 with an option to extend for a further season."
Young, who becomes the first English man to play for Inter since Paul Ince in the 1990s, tweeted:
"Very excited to join Inter and begin this new challenge. Can't wait to get started.
"Paul Ince is a legend. If I could follow in his footsteps that would make me very happy. My message to the fans is that success is coming back to the Club. That’s why I’m here, I want to help the team reach its objectives."
Inter added: "As a keen campaigner against racism, Young has led from the front for Manchester United - recently wearing the captain's armband for the past three seasons.
"However, he's now ready for a new adventure and on behalf of the entire Nerazzurri family, we'd like to wish our new signing all the very best."
The 34-year-old added on instagram that he'll remain a United fan:
