With BOD retired, it has been passed onto Jared Payne.
The 29 year old continues his partnership with Robbie Henshaw of the visit France with the pair receiving a vote of confidence from Joe Schmidt before Ireland's win over South Africa back in November.
Payne qualified for the national team under the three year residency rule.
