Scotland back row forward Ryan Wilson has been cited for an alleged eye-gouging incident during his team's Six Nations win against England last Saturday.
The number eight allegedly "made contact with the eye area of an opponent" in the 37th minute of the 25-13 victory against the English at Murrayfield.
Wilson will face a disciplinary hearing held by a Six Nations disciplinary committee this Wednesday.
It puts his partipation against Ireland on Saturday week as well as the final round clash with Italy in some doubt, with the low end entry point of sanction, four weeks.
The Scottish and English unions have also been asked by Six Nations for their considered response to the tunnel incident, in which Wilson and England's Owen Farrell were involved. New footage of the fracas has been uploaded to YouTube.
Six Nations will decided after hearing both responses whether any disciplinary action is deemed necessary.
