Chief Executive Derek McGrath made the plea at yesterday’s tournament launch in Dublin.
The English clubs are refusing to engage in talks scheduled for later this month as they continue plans to form their own competition.
McGrath admits there is little the ERC can do force them to the table, but hopes that sense prevails:
