It seems as if the Roy Keane - Celtic story was not silly season speculation.
The Republic of Ireland assistant manager has held what are being described as 'informal' talks with Celtic over the vacant manager's role at Parkhead.
The national team has yet to play a competitive game under boss Martin O'Neill and Keane may now not be involved in the Euro 2016 qualifiers, having being appointed as part of a 'Dream Team' last November.
Keane played with Celtic in 2005 and 2006.
